Eligibility Criteria for AP Police Sub Inspector & Jailors Vacancies:

Age Limit: Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 25 years as on 1st July 2018 for Post Code Nos. 11, 12, 13 & 15. i.e must have been born not earlier than 2nd July 1993 and not later than 1st July 1997.

Candidates age between 21 years to 30 years as on 1st July 2018 for Post Code No. 14 & 16.

Upper age limit relaxation: 5 years for Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe, 5 years for AP State Government (Employees of APTRANSCO, Discoms, APGENCO, APSRTC, Corporations, Municipalities, Local bodies etc., are not entitled for age relaxation), 3 years for working in the Army, Naval or Air Force of the Union of the candidates who served in the Army, Naval or Air Force of the Union, 3 years for NCC candidates.

Application Fee: Candidates have to paid fee of Rs. 600/- toward processing fee, PMT/ PET, written examination etc for General/ OBC candidates. Local candidates of Andhra Pradesh belonging to SCs and STs have to pay only Rs. 300/- (Three Hundred Rupees Only). You can pay the exam fee on www.slprb.ap.gov.in portal  or equivalent through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, or any other mode available on the SLPRB website.

Selection Procedure: Candidates shall be required to appear for the Preliminary Written Test in Two Papers, Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) Exams, Final Written Examination and followed document verification. The minimum marks to be secured by a candidates in order to qualify in the written examination is 40% for OCs; 35% for BCs; and 30% for SCs/STs and Ex-Servicemen candidates.

Please save the soft copy of photograph, signature / thumb in jpeg format to upload online. The the exam fee may also visit any of the MeeSeva (e-Seva) / AP Online Centres in the state.
